Vietnam: Phone export increases 19.4 percent


(MENAFN)Vietnam got almost USD18.4 billion from exporting phones and parts in the first four months of 2021, which made up 17.7 percent of the country's total export income over the period.
The export seen a year-on-year increase of 19.4 percent, according to the country's General Statistics Office on Wednesday, May 5.

With that income, phones and components continued to be Vietnam's main export item, followed by computers and electronic components.

Between January and April, Vietnam also spent more than USD6 billion importing phones and their components, increasing 44 percent year on year.
