Vietnam: Cloth import increases 18.2 percent


(MENAFN)According to the country's General Statistics Office on Wednesday, May 5th, Vietnam spent more than USD4.2 billion importing cloth in the first four months of 2021, seeing a year-on-year increase of 18.2 percent.

Between January and April, Vietnam imported over 571,000 tons of cotton value USD984 million, up 6.5 percent in volume and 11.7 percent in value.

Over the period, the country also added USD880 million into importing 414,000 tons of yarn, it augmented 23.9 percent and 19.8 percent correspondingly.
