Iran launches 7 major water industry projects worth USD37.3M


(MENAFN)According to IRNA, Iranian Energy Minister Reza Ardakanian launched seven major water industry projects worth 1.57 trillion rials (USD37.3 million) via video meeting in five provinces.

The mentioned projects were launched in Zanjan, Isfahan, South Khorasan, Bushehr and Kerman provinces, operated in the fifth week of the ministry’s A-B-Iran program in this Iranian year.

Amid the launched projects were water supply to a number of rural areas in the stated provinces in addition to some wastewater treatment plants and a water storage facility.

The Energy Ministry launched a number of projects to supply drinking water to the country’s rural areas, in the framework of the A-B-Iran program.
