Jordan- King inspects newly in-service Centauro tank


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) AMMAN — His Majesty King Abdullah, the Supreme Commander of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army on Tuesday, accompanied by HRH Crown Prince Hussein, inspected the Centauro tank, which entered into service recently at the 3rd Royal Tank Battalion of the 60th Prince El Hassan Armoured Brigade, in-line with the JAF's development plans.

King Abdullah, via radio, saluted his brothers in arms serving in the brigade, expressing pride in their efforts, according to a Royal Court statement.

His Majesty was briefed on the technical specifications of the Centauro tank.

The King and the Crown Prince also joined the 3rd Royal Tank Battalion's personnel for Iftar.
