(MENAFN) Figures from China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology demonstrate that the country’s home-appliance industry witnessed stable growth in the January-March period of 2021.
The ministry said that in the stated period, the sector’s operating profit added 51.9 percent annually to 378.94 billion yuan (around 58.59 billion).
According to the ministry, the combined income hit around USD3,10 billion in the stated period, a rise by 76.5 percent from a year earlier.
Official figures demonstrate that during the first three months of the year, the country’s production of refrigerators and washing machines reached 21.58 million units and 21.45 million units, respectively, both recording a rise of more than 50 percent annually.
