Iran, Turkmenistan to discuss growth of collaboration in oil industry


(MENAFN)Managing Director of Iran’s Khazar Exploration and Production Company (KEPCO) Ali Osouli gathered with Turkmenistan’s Ambassador to Tehran Ahmad Ghorbanov to talk about increasing collaboration in the oil industry.

Shana reported that Osouli stressed the long history of Iran-Turkmenistan ties as two neighboring countries with profound cultural relations and represented some of the activities and experiences of KEPCO in the Caspian Sea region.

He highlighted the capacities and accomplishments of his company in deep-water operations.

The official referred to the formation of the South Caspian Oil Research Consortium, blocking and prioritization of exploration operations in addition to inking a deal with Azerbaijan for collaboration in Caspian Sea’s Alborz block as some of the significant actions taken by KEPCO in the past few years.
