Turkish TAV Airports operate at Almaty Airport


(MENAFN)Prominent Turkish airport operator TAV Airports operated at Almaty Airport, Kazakhstan’s main and busiest aviation hub.

According to a statement by the operator, the airport’s capacity is going to be increased with a USD200 million investment to set a new international terminal.

The investment scheduled to be finished in less than three years.

It further stated that TAV currently is 85 percent beneficial owner of Almaty Airport and associated fuel and catering businesses, as the Kazakhstan Infrastructure Fund, led by VPE Capital and backed by Kazyna Capital Management, holds the remaining 15 percent stake.
