Doha: Birla Public School's Department of Art has conducted interesting and entertaining art workshops.

The event is part of co-scholastic activities at the school. The Department of Art scheduled a series of art workshops for Grade III-V and Grade VI-XII. This series of art workshops helped the children develop creativity as well as their aesthetic senses.

Adapting to the new situation in this academic year, the first workshops were conducted  through webinars. The art workshop for the academic year 2021-22 was conducted on April 21, 2021 in the evening, through a zoom webinar.

The workshop started with good wishes and words of encouragement from Rajesh Pillai, Vice Principal (Co-Scholastic).

The workshop was very exciting for the students as they revolved around  practicing speed sketching. During the workshop, children got the opportunity to see the usage of different mediums such as pencils, pens, soft pastels in rapid sketching.

The second art workshop was conducted by Ravikumar Chatti, art teacher for Grade IIIV. All the participants enjoyed and painted their canvases with the guidance of the teacher. It imbibed in the students the love of creation and expressing oneself.
