(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, Apr. 29, 2021, SPA -- Quoting His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, the Secretariat General of the Senior Ulema Commission confirmed that Quran is the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's constitution and constant methodology on which the country was founded and based.
In a statement, one day after the transmission of a thorough TV interview with the Crown Prince, the Secretariat General of the Senior Ulema panel said that His Royal Highness's assertion that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was established on the pillars of Islam was stated in the country's statute of governance.
Out of this constitution, Saudi Arabia derives all its principles and regulations, resulting in the current security, stability, prosperity and national cohesion enjoyed by the Kingdom and its people, the Commission said, citing verses from the holy Quran.
Following the instructions of Quran and sayings of Prophet Mohammed (pbuh) calling for moderation, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is, since its inception, enjoying stability and contributing to the world's common order, said the statement.
The statement concluded that according to this approach, Saudi Arabia comes at the forefront of the world in fighting extremism and terror.
The Senior Ulema Commission paid tribute to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince for their dedication to the instructions of Islam, making them a method of life of the Saudis and a good example for all Muslims all over the world.
