Qatari, Saudi FMs discuss enhancing GCC march


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DOHA, April 26 (KUNA) -- Qatar's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al Thani on Monday discussed means of promoting the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) march with his Saudi counterpart Prince Faisal bin Farhan.
This came during a meeting between Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman with Prince Faisal bin Farhan during which the two ministers discussed mutual cooperation and the latest developments in the region, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
The Qatari minister expressed his country's full support to all measures taken by the sisterly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to combat smuggling drugs, it added.
He called for intensifying efforts to bolster cooperation between the region's countries to combat drugs smuggling.
He renewed his country's firm backing to the Saudi government and people in all measures aiming to maintain the Kingdom's stability and security, according to the agency. (end)
