Yemen's Houthi militants announce fresh assault on Saudi airbase

(MENAFN) On Sunday, Apr. 25 Yemen's Houthi rebels struck King Khalid Airbase in Saudi Arabia's southwestern city of Khamis Mushait with a bomb-laden drone ahead of dawn, said the group.

Houthi-run al-Masirah TV said in a report: "the hit was accurate."

"The Saudi air defenses intercepted and destroyed a Houthi bomb drone aimed at the kingdom's south," reported Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya TV.

This was the fifth reported assault targeting Saudi cities in almost a week.
