Afghanistan: 4 citizens killed by militants, 4 militants dead on suburbs of Kabul


(MENAFN) On Thursday, Apr. 22 a local official corroborated that four commuters were fired and killed by militants from a car in the Afghani western Ghor province on Wednesday.

Local administration spokesperson Zulmai Karimi said to Xinhua: "the incident occurred along a district road in Dawlat Yar district. The victims, including the director of agriculture department of Lal Wa Sarjangal district and three university students, were travelling from provincial capital Firoz Koah to Lal Wa Sarjangal before being killed."

Afghanistan's independent human rights commission said that the Afghan citizens carry on enduring the brunt of armed conflicts as over 2,950 citizens died and more than 5,540 others injured because of clashes in the nation in 2020.
