KSrelief's Masam Project Dismantles 2,772 Mines in Yemen During Last Week


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, April 20, 2021, SPA -- King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Project (Masam) for clearing mines in Yemen, dismantled, during the second week of April 2021, a total of 2,772 mines, including 8 anti-personnel mines, 1.707 anti-tank mines, 1,052 unexploded ordnance and 5 explosive devices.
Since the beginning of the project, as many as 235,029 mines, which were planted by the Houthi militia throughout Yemeni lands, have been dismantled.
KSrelief, through Masam project, seeks to clear Yemeni areas of mines, enhance security, and address direct threats to the lives of the Yemeni people.
