Kuwait Red Crescent feeds thousands in Lebanon on Ramadan

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BEIRUT, April 20 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Red Crescent is handing out food packages to 75,000 people in Lebanon, including nationals alongside Syrian and Palestinian refugees, during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, an official said on Tuesday.
The distribution of the parcels, which contain "essential food rations," is being carried out cooperatively by KRCS and Lebanese Red Cross volunteers throughout the country, head of the organisation's Lebanon mission Musaed Al-Enezi said.
"KRCS intends to aid people in need in facing tough economic and living conditions, particularly during the month of good deeds and mercy," he added. (end)
