(MENAFN)The last four electricity-production units of the Wudongde Hydropower Station, which will be China's fourth-main and the world's seventh-largest hydropower scheme to reach finishing point, have entered the final congregation phase and are planned to be completely ready by July 1.

With building starting in December 2015, the station's first consignment of electricity-generation units began producing power in June 2020. A total of eight units have now been put into operation. The station's total put in capacity is 10.2 million kilowatts.
