(MENAFN)According to official statistics, China witnessed faster expansion in its natural gas production in the first quarter of 2021.
Statistics from the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) revealed that the country's natural gas production augmented by 13.1 percent year on year to 53.3 billion cubic meters throughout the period.
Compared with the 2019 level, the number increased 23.4 percent, putting average Q1 expansion for last year and 2021 at 11.1 percent.
In March alone, China's natural gas production hit 18.5 billion cubic meters, it increased 12.1 percent year on year, and the average daily manufacture hit 600 million cubic meters.
