Hamas says Israeli airstrikes on Gaza "is condemned"

(MENAFN) On Friday, the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) denounced the Israeli missiles on the Gaza Strip hours after unidentified activists launched a rocket into southern Israel.

Attacking the Gaza Strip while Muslims were having their suhoor meal before fasting "is condemned," said Hazem Qassem, Hamas spokesman in Gaza, in a press statement.

Previously on Friday, local witnesses revealed that Israeli army fighting jets hit military bases and facilities that owned by Hamas armed wing al-Qassam Brigades in central and southern Gaza Strip.

The sources further included that vast blasts were heard following the airstrikes. The sources said no injuries were reported, but damage was caused in the targeted posts and facilities.
