Iran says USD3.97B paid to small, medium-sized enterprises


(MENAFN)Some 167 trillion rials (USD3.97 billion) was paid to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and semi-finished industrial projects with more than 60 percent physical progress in the preceding Iranian year, according to Iran’s Ministry of Industry, Mining and Trade’s data.

IRIB showed that the stated payments were made in the form of bank loans paid to 5,044 projects and production units.

Some 15,182 manufacturing units and semi-finished projects with physical progress of more than 60 percent in 31 provinces and free zones recorded to receive facilities in the last year.

The Industry, Mining, and Trade Ministry reported that 51.48 trillion rials (USD1.225 billion) was paid to production units as part of a program for supporting domestic production in the first seven months of the last Iranian year.
