Seven more coronavirus related deaths reported in Sri Lanka


(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) Seven more coronavirus related deaths have been reported in Sri Lanka.

The Government said that the death toll in Sri Lanka from the pandemic has now risen to 615.

The latest victims include a 69-year-old male from Pasyala who died while undergoing treatment at the Colombo National Hospital.

The second victim is a 76-year-old male from Ratnapura. He died while receiving treatment at the Base Hospital in Mulleriyawa.

The third victim is a 60-year-old male from Kalmunai. He died at the Mulleriyawa Base Hospital.

The fourth victim is a 75-year-old female from Kalawana. She died while receiving treatment at the Mulleriyawa Base Hospital.

The fifth victim is a 63-year-old male from Thondaimanaru. He died while receiving treatment at the Mulleriyawa Base Hospital.

The sixth victim is an 86-year-old male from Thalangama. He died at the Mulleriyawa Base Hospital.

The seventh victim is a 59-year-old female from Chavakachcheri. She died at the Infectious Disease Hospital (IDH) in Angoda. (Colombo Gazette)
