UAE Announces 1,843 New COVID-19 Cases, 1,506 Recoveries, 2 Deaths in Last 24 hours


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Abu Dhabi, April 16, 2021, SPA -- The UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that it conducted 198,135 additional COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours, using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment.
As part of its intensified testing campaign, the MoHAP announced 1,843 new coronavirus cases, bringing the total number of recorded cases in the UAE to 493,266.
The UAE Health Ministry also announced 2 deaths due to COVID-19 complications, bringing the total number of deaths in the country to 1,547, pointing out that an additional 1,506 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 476,518.
