Health Ministry: 964 New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases, 918 Recoveries Reported in Saudi Arabia


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, April 16, 2021, SPA -- The Ministry of Health announced today in a statement that 964 new confirmed cases of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 403,106, including 9,285 active cases.
Of these, there are 1,034 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable, the statement said.
It added that 10 new deaths have been reported, putting the tally of fatalities at 6,801.
Meanwhile, as many as 918 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 387,020.
On the other hand, 53,744 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
