(MENAFN- UkrinForm) The key priorities of the Ukrainian government are attracting investment, creating favorable conditions for conducting innovative business and building digital infrastructure, Deputy Minister for Economy, Trade and Agriculture Development of Ukraine Oleksandr Romanishyn has said.
To achieve these goals at least three areas can be identified - the development of public-private partnership, state support for investment projects and the development of industrial parks, Romanishyn said during the forum "Switzerland - Ukraine: Prospects for B2B Cooperation", the Ukrainian Economy Ministry's press service reports.
The deputy minister said that in order to develop Ukraine's innovation infrastructure, the government is planning to create a network of 24 innovation-based incubators (IBI) in accordance with the standards of the European Network of Business and Innovation Centers (EBN) and launch an automated online platform to support small and medium-sized businesses.
In addition, the government intends to create a network of centers for the introduction of new technologies in industry and standardization of quality of services provided in the market through the implementation of European norms and rules.
'Ukraine is becoming a global center of information technology. The high level of Ukrainian specialists distinguishes our country in the global IT market - large international companies often open their offices and research centers in Ukraine, we sign investment agreements with our international partners, create jobs, and Kyiv has become a European center according to StartupBlink's 2020 Startup Ecosystem Ranking, said Romanishyn.
