PM Shmyhal thanks Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia for supporting Ukraine's sovereignty

(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal has thanked Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania Gabrielius Landsbergis, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia Edgars Rinkevics, and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Estonia Rein Tammsaar for supporting Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Shmyhal wrote this on his Twitter account.

"In our meeting with Gabrielius Landsbergis, Edgars Rinkevics, and Rein Tammsaar, I thanked Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia for supporting Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic aspirations, as well as our sovereignty and territorial integrity," Shmyhal wrote.

The PM noted that Ukraine highly values friendship and partnership with the Baltic states.

As Ukrinform reported, the foreign ministers of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are on a joint working visit to Ukraine on April 15 at the invitation of Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba to demonstrate their solidarity with Ukraine amid Russia's destabilizing actions.

Russia continues to build up its striking military units near Ukraine's borders, with the Russian media outlets launching an information campaign of lies and provocations to discredit Ukraine and justify Russia's military intervention.
