Health Ministry: 985 New Confirmed COVID-19 Cases, 661 Recoveries Reported in Saudi Arabia


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, April 15, 2021, SPA -- The Ministry of Health announced today in a statement that 985 new confirmed cases of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, bringing the total number to 402,142, including 9,249 active cases.
Of these, there are 999 critical cases, while the health condition of the rest is stable, the statement said.
It added that 10 new deaths have been reported, putting the tally of fatalities at 6,791.
Meanwhile, as many as 661 cases have recovered, raising recoveries' toll to 386,102.
On the other hand, 45,953 new laboratory tests were conducted, in the last 24-hour, across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
