Libya receives 150,000 doses of Sinovac coronavirus vaccine from Turkey


(MENAFN) On Wednesday, Apr. 14 the Libyan Ministry of Health declared receiving 150,000 doses of China's coronavrius vaccine Sinovac from Turkey.

The batch was offered within the framework of shared collaboration between the two countries, stated the ministry.

The Libyan Government said that Libya, thus far, has taken delivery of an overall of 400,000 doses of coronavirus vaccine, urging the people to sign up online to take the vaccine.

Libya's National Center for Disease Control on April 10 began an immunization drive against coronavirus in the capital Tripoli, with Prime Minister Abdul Hamid Dbeibah and Health Minister Ali Zanati being the first people to get the jabs in Libya.
