Jordan- Awqaf Minister slams Israel's attack on Al Aqsa speakers, cutting off connection


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Apr. 14 (Petra) -- Awqaf Minister Mohammad Khalaileh on Wednesday condemned attacks carried out by the Israeli occupation police in the holy Al-Aqsa Mosque, and
cutting off connection from the mosque's speakers to prevent the call to prayer.
Khalaileh denounced threating employees of the Jerusalem Awqaf Department (JAD) who expressed their disapproval of these provocative measures, which constitute a threat to JAD Director General, Sheikh Azzam Khatib, which is a serious precedent, especially as it coincides with the first day of the holy month of Ramadan, disregarding feelings of Muslims throughout the earth and all international and humanitarian norms and laws, warned against recurrent of such attacks against Muslims feelings.
The minister reiterated that the 144-dunum Aqsa Mosque cannot be divided or shared as it is one of the holiest three places for Muslims.
