(MENAFN)A senior government official stated on Tuesday, April 13, Zambia will start the coronavirus inoculation plan on Wednesday, April 14, following the arrival of the first batch of the vaccines.
Minister of Health Jonas Chanda stated that health employees will be the first group to get the vaccine followed by priority populations most in danger.
He also stated that throughout a coronavirus update press meeting "The frontline health workers must be protected so that they can manage those who have fallen prey to the Coronavirus disease".
He declared that the ministry will guarantee that all the frontier employees were secure to reinforce the country's preparedness ahead of a possible third wave of the COVID-19 in the cold season.
