A freight train has derailed in the Turkish province of Bursa in the northeast of the country, Trend reports citing the Turkish media.

Reportedly, rail freight in the province has been suspended.

According to the Turkish media, rescuers arrived at the scene of the incident.

According to preliminary data, no casualties have been recorded as a result of the incident.

The reason for the train crash remains to be seen.
