Bioethanol can be extensively used as a fuel for power generation, as a transportation fuel, in fuel cells, feedstock in chemical industry, in cogeneration systems, and owing to its easy availability and clean burning process in manufacturing processes. The main sources for the production of bioethanol are energy crop such as maize, corn, waste staw, wheat crops, saw dust, willow, cord grasses, reed canary grass, sorghum plants, myscanthus, and jerusalem artichoke among others.
