Jordan- Occupancy rate of beds reaches 90% in Madaba - says official


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Madaba, Apr. 8 (Petra)- Madaba's Assistant Health Director Mustafa al-Atrash, on Thursday, said that the occupancy rate of beds at al-Nadeem Public Hospital reached 90 per cent, and 80 per cent at Princess Salma Public Hospital in Theban district.
He told Petra that the two hospitals are struggling with the mounting numbers of the COVID-19 patients, as well as, the acute shortage of nursing and medical cadres.
Turnout for the COVID-19 vaccine exceeds 70 per cent at the platform allocated for this purpose, al-Atrash said, adding that no side-effects from the vaccine have been recorded.
