Riyadh, April 07, 2021, SPA -- The Expert Team of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States (GCC) railway project held yesterday virtually its twelfth meeting with the participation of representatives of relevant authorities in member states and national companies operating railways.
The meeting discussed a number of issues related to the project, such as the study of updating the project's expectations of the volume and movement of passengers and goods.
It also discussed preparing a study for the project's operational plan and preparing to establish the GCC Rail Authority, in addition to updating the project's rail maps in member states.
