Ethiopia blames Egypt, Sudan of stopping dam discussion

(MENAFN)Ethiopia has blamed Egypt and Sudan of having stopped the newest round of discussion on the Nile dam convened in Kinshasa, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
DRC's leader Felix Tshekedi, who is also the present African Union chairperson, convened the discussion on April 3-5 to solve the decade-long argument.
Ethiopia has been in front of opposition from Egypt since it initiated the USD5-billion dam on the Nile in 2011.
Egypt worries that the dam would decrease the flow of water downstream.
