(MENAFN)According to an investment bank CEO, after a 30-year occupation, the Nagorno-Karabakh area is planned to be totally reconstructed, from infrastructure to roads and hospitals, and Turkish freelancers will play a main role in this.
Azerbaijan wants to work with Turkish suppliers, recognized for their experience in building in the area, declared Cenk Eynehan, the CEO of Istanbul-based PASHA Bank, whose parent business is situated in the Azerbaijani capital Baku.
He highlighted that around 1.5 million Azerbaijanis will return to the area as it follows schemes in infrastructure, road, agriculture, energy, education, and health.
He also added that Azerbaijan so far assigned a budget of 2.2 billion Azerbaijani manats (USD1.3 billion) for the schemes, and the budget is anticipated to increase by tens of billions of dollars in the upcoming years.
