Somalia: Suicide bombing leaves 6 dead, 4 wounded


(MENAFN) On Saturday night, Apr. 3 a suicide bombing in Somalia's capital of Mogadishu left six persons as a minimum dead and another 4 injured.

Three women and a kid were amongst those who lost their lives when a suicide bomber blasted himself at a restaurant in the vicinity of Shangani of Mogadishu, stated Ismael Mukhtar Omar, spokesperson in the ministry of information.

Omar said to Xinhua through the phone: "six people, among them three women and a child, were killed and four others injured this evening when a suicide bomber blew himself up at a tea shop in Shangani neighborhood."

He noted the intention of the suicide bomber had not been identified but sources stated he could have aimed at a police station or an administration ministry, which are based close to the scene.
