Qatar- QIB rewards new and existing Misk Account Holders with Bonus Absher rewards points


(MENAFN- The Peninsula) Doha: Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has announced the launch of a new and limited offer for new and existing Misk savings account holders, allowing them to get bonus Absher Rewards Points on an exclusive basis.

Running from now until May 31, 2021, all new Misk account holders with a minimum balance of QR50,000, or existing Misk account holders who increase their balance by minimum QR50,000 will earn 5,000 Absher Rewards Points for each QR50,000 in their accounts.

All new and existing Misk savings account holders are eligible to benefit from the offer with the only condition of maintaining their new or incremental saving balance for at least 2 two complete calendar months.

Customers can choose to redeem their Absher points to shop at the Mall of Qatar, Al Meera supermarkets in Qatar, vouchers from different partners, or settle their Ooredoo, Vodafone or Kahramaa utility bills.

Absher points can also be used to book flights with over 900 airlines, book a room from over 450,000 hotels or rent a car from more than 150,000 car rental offices in more than 150 cities worldwide.

Customers also have access to the online shopping store specialized in redeeming points with thousands of p r o d u c t s a c r o s s different categories, ranging from electronic items, personal and household items from leading brands. Every week, 15 lucky Misk Account holder winners are entitled to win QR10,000 each, and two monthly winners are eligible for QR50,000 each. The grand prize draw for the QR1 Million will take place in November 2021.

Customers must maintain a minimum monthly balance of QR10,000 to be eligible for the weekly and monthly draws. To qualify for the grand prize draw, the customer must open the account three months prior to the draw and maintain a minimum of QR10,000 for each of those months.

For every additional QR10,000 saved, the customer has one additional chance in the draws. Commenting on the launch of the exclusive offer, D. All Qatari citizens and residents are eligible to open a Misk savings account for themselves or their children. When opening a Misk account, customers will receive a free debit card, become eligible to request a free for the first year credit card backed by the account balance, receive profits on their savings and have the chance to frequently win cash prizes.

All QIB existing customers can open a Misk Account through the award-winning QIB Mobile App; the additional account can be opened instantly through the App without the need to visit a branch or sign any documents. Funds can be transferred from customers' existing account to the new Misk account instantly through the App. Prospective Qatari customers can also open a Misk account through the QIB Mobile App in a fast, simple and convenient way from the comfort of their home, office or even when relaxing at a shopping mall or anywhere else.

Interested citizens have to download the QIB Mobile app and through the use of digital identification technology scan the required documents (Qatari ID), take a selfie and fill a few remaining personal data. Following quick real-time verifications of the above, the account is set up and a bank representative will contact the customer within few minutes to complete the process.
