Turkish state-owned lender to boost its collaborations in geographies


(MENAFN)Turkish state-owned lender Ziraat Bank inked a loan deal of USD400 million with China's Exim Bank, to boost its successful collaboration in a variety of geographies.

Ziraat Bank said in a statement that the cost-effective loan given from Export-Import Bank of China in two separate tranches is going to increase trade in local currencies.

It further stated that the loan will convene the companies' financing requirements mainly engaged in foreign trade amid China and Turkey.

It added that "The agreement is an important indicator of the trust that international financial circles and business partners have in both the country's economy and Ziraat Bank."
