(MENAFN- PRovoke) NEW YORK — Global Strategy Group has hired Rob Lee to lead a new brand storytelling and digital media agency within GSG. Formerly global creative director at Newsweek, Lee will partner with GSG's media director, Emily Williams, to lead The [email protected] , a creative and digital agency to serve clients from Fortune 500 companies and startups to issue advocacy groups. The new agency will offer high-level creative direction, full-service video and content production and digital media strategy, planning and buying capabilities.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ — Taft Communications has promoted president Ted Deutsch to CEO. Deutsch joined Taft as a consultant in 2012 after two decades in agency and corporate communications positions, including as VP of communications and public affairs for Sandoz Inc. and Avis-Budget Group. Other career highlights prior to Taft include leading communications for Realogy, move.com, and operating his own Princeton-based firm for four years.

SAN FRANCISCO — Reva Seth has joined Shift Communications to help expand the firm's work with foreign companies wanting to break into the US. Seth's efforts as a senior advisor will initially focus on Indian, Israeli and Canadian tech companies. She brings more than 15 years of experience in communications that has included co-founding a cannabis media company and leading communications for Lambda School in San Francisco.

WASHINGTON — Scott Circle Communications has added five new team members. They are: business development director Katie Russo, a former startup COO and Merritt Group healthcare practice leader; VP Kevin Perez-Allen, formerly deputy director of communication for the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials; VP Alexandra Schauffler, who has led communications initiatives at agencies including Ogilvy and Edelman; associate Robert Conner, who brings experience from SKDK and Lisi Communications; and coordinator Madeleine Kapushy, who previously served as a national advance lead for Elizabeth Warren's presidential campaign.

CHICAGO — Walker Sands has promoted Payal Pathak and Ann Hagner to its senior leadership team. VP of public relations, Pathak has steadily risen the ranks of the PR department by helping clients increase credibility and awareness, building the agency's executive media training program and growing a team of 15.
