China: Central bank to emerge USD768.8m of charges in Hong Kong


(MENAFN)China's central bank aims to charge 5 billion yuan (about USD768.8 million) worth of bills in Hong Kong on Thursday, March 25.

The People's Bank of China stated in an online report, the maturity of the fixed-rate charge is set at six months.

It will be the third issuance of central bank charges in Hong Kong in 2021.

The central bank stated that the move plans to augment yuan-investment products with high credit ratings in Hong Kong and develop the yield curve of yuan in the area.
