Iran’s gasoline production capacity by 20 ML needs over USD15B of investment
( MENAFN )Improving the country’s Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) industry may save Iran USD14 billion, according to Managing director of National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company (NIORDC).
Developing the country’s gasoline manufacture capacity by 20 million liters needed more than USD15 billion of investment, as increasing the country’s CNG output by the equivalent of the same total only require USD1 billion, that means it could save the country USD14 billion.
Sadeqabadi further stated that the improvement of the CNG industry in Iran started since long time ago alongside with the improvement of the national gas network and currently there is over 40 million cubic meters of daily CNG distribution capacity in Iran.
A huge side of the stated capability is not being used, and this directed the government to get advantage from this capacity by improving the figure of dual-fuel vehicles.
