Saudi-led coalition halts fresh drone assault by Yemen's Houthi group


(MENAFN) A coalition spokesperson stated as quoted by the Saudi Press Agency that on Friday, Mar. 5 the Saudi-led coalition occupied in a battle in Yemen halted an assault by Houthi rebels toward the country.

The coalition foiled a bomb-laden drone fired toward Khamis Mushait city in southwestern Saudi Arabia, noted Turki Al Maliki, the coalition spokesperson.

He announced that during the dawn, the coalition demolished four drones that aimed at civilians and civilian locations.

The spokesperson blamed Houthis for committing war crimes.
