Saudi civil defense declares injury of man, child by drones' fragments


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) JEDDAH, March 5 (KUNA) -- A Saudi national and a child were injured by the fragments of drones launched by Yemeni Houthi militants on southern Saudi Arabia, Saudi civil defense directorate (SCDD) in Asir province said on Friday.
The incident occurred when some drones were intercepted, Mohammad Al-Sayed, an SCDD officer, was quoted by Saudi Press Agency (SPA) as saying in a statement.
Those injured were admitted to hospitals and their conditions are stable, he added.
The SCDD received reports that the fragments caused damage to some houses, with no casualties, he noted. (end)
