Qatar- Commemoration of World Social Justice Day at Loyola


(MENAFN- Gulf Times)  Following the path of Mahatma Gandhi and to commemorate the World Day of Social Justice, February 20th, grade V students of Loyola International School performed a virtual presentation on February 20 to shed light on the need for social justice by challenging issues such as human rights, gender equality, sustainable development, social protection and poverty, among others. The activity was designed to forge a better understanding on the importance of the day and make the students aware of the principles of social justice- access, equity, participation and rights. Students presented their views through posters, cards and speeches. The event concluded with students taking a pledge to uphold the principles of social justice and make the world a better place to live in.
