Ambulance hits bomb-laden device in Burkina Faso, 6 lives claimed


(MENAFN) A local government spokesman Ousseni Tamboura said on Wednesday that six people were killed when an ambulance struck an incendiary device in northeast Burkina Faso on Tuesday.

The spokesman stated "The coward and barbaric incident that occurred while the ambulance was ensuring a medical evacuation to the capital Ouagadougou claimed the lives of six people."

The casualties included a patient woman and her husband, two nurses, a child, and an ambulance.

Ousseni Tamboura further included that the Government of Burkina Faso strongly denounced this illegal act committed by unfaithful persons and expressed its condolences to the families who had been mourned.
