UNRWA says Palestinian refugees in Lebanon will be vaccinated


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Beirut, March 3 (Petra) -- The United Nations for the Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), Wednesday, said that the Palestinian refugees in Lebanon are included in the state vaccination plan against COVID-19.
UNRWA said in a press statement that its health committee emphasized that Palestinian refugees in Lebanon should register with the Ministry of Public Health to receive the vaccine.
It noted that since the start of the pandemic, around 6,800 Palestinian refugees have been infected with the highly contagious respiratory disease and a total of 219 have succumbed to it.
