South American Sports Council chooses Fatima Morales as new president


(MENAFN) In an agreed vote, Paraguay's Sports Minister Fatima Morales was chosen for the second time as president of the South American Sports Council (Consude).

According to the Sports Secretariat, Morales presented the protocol for the coming two years and aimed the growth of South American sport following the Coronavirus pandemic, after her victory.

It further stated that Paraguay "will promote the creation of a regional observatory, the promotion of women in sports, the exchange of good practices in social, school and high-performance sports, and the coordination of national public policies towards regional integration, as well as the importance of Sport in the post-pandemic stage."
