Riyadh, February 23, 2021, SPA -- Under the patronage of Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Space Authority, and Prince Dr. Turki bin Saud, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Saudi Company for Technical Development and Investment, the Authority and the Company have signed a joint memorandum of cooperation to unify efforts in research and development activities of the Kingdom's human capabilities.
The memorandum was co-signed by the Authority's CEO Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammad Al Al-Sheikh, and by the Company's CEO Abdulrahman bin Zaid Al-Khathlan. The memorandum aims to enhance joint cooperation between the two sides to achieve integration and unify efforts in the transfer of technical knowledge in the space sector, the localization of its industries, and the development of the human capital in the fields of space science through the participation of national cadres, infrastructure and knowledge.
