VIENNA, Feb 23 (KUNA) -- Austria recorded on Tuesday 1,727 new infection cases with the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) bringing the tally of contaminations with the virus to 448,371.
The Austrian health department said in a statement that the number of recoveries has exceeded 423,000 while the death toll has hit 8,434.
Some 500,000 people in Austria have been vaccinated against the germ so far. (end)
