(MENAFN)On Friday, Turkey's benchmark stock index ended at 1,560.34 points, increased 0.90 percent.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index increased 13.93 points from 1,546.41 points at the last close, after opening at 1,551.54 points.
The BIST 100 averaged amid 1,550.14, points and 1,561.75 points, with 49 stocks on the index increased and 39 fell compared to the last close.
The benchmark index recorded a daily trading rate of 37.1 billion liras (USD5.3 billion), after ending the day with a market rate of around 1.1 trillion Turkish liras (USD172 billion).
