Arab coalition destroys drone launched by Houthis towards Saudi Arabia

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, Feb 17 (KUNA) -- Saudi-led Arab coalition supporting legitimacy in Yemen said it intercepted and destroyed a drone launched by the Houthi militias on Wednesday.
Coalition spokesman Colonel Turki Al-Malki was quoted by the Saudi press agency as saying the drone was to target populated and civilian areas in Khamis Mushait of Saudi Arabia.
"The repeated attempts of the terrorist Houthi militias to launch ballistic missile and drones against civilian targets run counter to the rules of the humanitarian law," said the spokesman. (end)
