743 Ethiopia nationals brought back home from Middle Eastern nations


(MENAFN) A total of 743 Ethiopian nationals were brought back from Middle Eastern countries to their home land in recent days, the Ethiopian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) released Wednesday.

As per the ministerial statement, a number of 68 Ethiopian nationals were returned home from Lebanon, whereas another 675 nationals were returned home from Saudi Arabi.

Dina Mufti, the official for MoFA, said Tuesday in a statement that the ministry is exerting efforts to return Ethiopian nationals stuck in many foreign nations.

Mufti further included that efforts to return stranded Ethiopian nationals from various foreign countries are ongoing in spite of logistical challenges and travel restrictions related to the COVID-19 global pandemic.
